LEGAL & TERMS

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your use of the RedSwap website at https://redswap.org (the “Interface”). The Interface is made available by Redswap DEX, based in Finland. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not access or use the Interface.

1. Nature and scope of the Interface

The Interface is software for viewing quotes and preparing self-directed transactions involving compatible tokens and liquidity pools on Ethereum and BNB Chain. It may integrate third-party routers, factories, pools, token contracts, wallet software, and information providers. The Interface is not a blockchain, an exchange order book, a bank account, a custodial wallet, or a cross-chain bridge.

Transactions take place through blockchain networks and smart contracts, not through an account balance maintained by the Interface. The availability of a smart contract or token in the Interface does not mean the operator created, controls, audits, endorses, or guarantees it.

2. Eligibility and compliance with law

You must have legal capacity to use the Interface and must not access or use it if doing so violates laws applicable to you or to the operator. You are responsible for complying with applicable sanctions, trade restrictions, anti-fraud laws, and any rules affecting your digital-asset transactions. The Interface is not represented as being licensed or available for every jurisdiction. Access to a website does not establish that a particular transaction is lawful or permitted.

3. Your wallet and keys

You choose and control your wallet. The Interface does not request custody of your private keys or seed phrase, and its operator cannot recover your wallet or reverse transactions signed by you. You are responsible for wallet security, checking addresses and network selections, protecting recovery information, and reviewing every transaction or allowance before confirming it.

4. Quotes, transactions, and fees

Quotes and estimated outputs are informational snapshots, not guaranteed execution prices. Actual outcomes depend on pool reserves, network conditions, token behavior, slippage, deadlines, transaction ordering, and contract execution. You select the amount, token, network, permissible slippage, and transaction approval. A submitted blockchain transaction may fail, remain pending, or settle at a result within the limits you approved.

Network gas fees, liquidity-provider fees, token-specific charges, and any separately disclosed third-party or interface fees may apply. Network fees can be incurred even if a transaction fails. You must review fee and transaction details in the Interface, wallet, and on-chain contracts rather than assume the Interface is free of charges.

5. Liquidity and smart contracts

Adding or removing liquidity exposes you to price changes, impermanent loss, smart-contract risks, and token or pool failures. Liquidity positions may be represented by LP tokens or other contract records. Their value and recoverability depend on the relevant contracts and available assets, not on guarantees from the operator. You must understand the pool and review the relevant contract addresses.

6. Third-party providers and network independence

Wallet software, Reown wallet-connection services, RPC endpoints, explorers, liquidity indexers, token metadata hosts, smart contracts, and blockchains are external to the Interface. They may impose their own terms and process information independently. They may be unavailable, inaccurate, compromised, or incompatible. The operator cannot control the behavior of public blockchains merely by publishing a website.

7. Tokens and displayed information

Anyone may create or impersonate a digital token. Names, symbols, logos, balances, prices, and lists can be misleading, incomplete, or manipulated. A displayed token, source, pool, quote, or link is not a recommendation or assurance of authenticity, safety, liquidity, or future value. You are responsible for verifying contract addresses and independently evaluating any asset before interacting with it.

8. No investment, legal, or tax advice

The Interface provides tools and data, not personalized investment, financial, legal, or tax advice. The operator does not conduct a suitability assessment or act as your broker, investment adviser, agent, or fiduciary merely because you use the Interface. No displayed quote or source selection guarantees the best possible execution across all markets or applications.

9. Prohibited uses

You must not use the Interface to violate applicable law; engage in fraud, theft, sanctions evasion, money laundering, abusive market manipulation, or unlawful token activity; attempt to interfere with or compromise the Interface; impersonate others; distribute malicious code; or misuse another person's wallet or credentials. The operator may restrict or modify website features where lawful and technically possible. Such restrictions do not necessarily affect independently deployed smart contracts.

10. Taxes and recordkeeping

You are responsible for determining, reporting, and paying any taxes associated with your activity and keeping appropriate records. Blockchain transactions and liquidity operations may have different treatment across jurisdictions.

11. Availability, changes, and discontinuation

The Interface may be updated, temporarily unavailable, or permanently discontinued. Supported tokens, networks, swap sources, and features may change. Removing an option from the website does not cancel transactions or remove assets from contracts. You may need another compatible tool to manage an existing on-chain position if the Interface becomes unavailable.

12. Intellectual property and external links

Rights in site branding and materials belong to their respective owners, subject to any applicable open-source licenses. Publicly available code and independently deployed protocols are governed by their own licenses and terms. External websites are provided for convenience; the operator does not guarantee their content or security.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Interface is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without a guarantee of uptime, accuracy, availability, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access. You should not assume that the Interface or any integrated smart contract has been audited, certified, insured, or authorized by a regulatory authority.

14. Liability and non-waivable rights

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for losses arising from third-party contracts, token economics, blockchain outages, compromised wallets, user-approved transactions, or inaccurate data outside the operator's control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded, nor does it remove mandatory consumer rights or remedies. Applicable law determines any remaining rights and liabilities.

15. Changes, disputes, and interpretation

The operator may update these Terms and post a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively to use after publication, subject to mandatory notice and consent requirements where applicable. Disputes are subject to applicable law and mandatory jurisdiction and consumer protections; these Terms do not impose compulsory arbitration or waive any non-waivable right to seek legal remedies.
